Active ingredient
Diclofenac
Uses
Arthritis and bones such as rheumatoid arthritis and acute gout and ankylosing spondylitis.
Back pain.
Muscle fatigue and joint pain and sports injuries and fractures.
Tendon conditions such as tendinitis.
Mild pains.
Do not take diclofenac sodium:
If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any other components of this medicine.
If you have an allergy to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs including acetylsalicylic acid.
If you have or have had in the past stomach ulcers or gastrointestinal ulcers, or gastrointestinal bleeding.
If you have experienced stomach or intestinal problems after taking other NSAIDs.
If you have severe liver or kidney problems.
If you have serious heart problems.
If you have had a stroke or heart attack or vascular problems.
If you are in the last three months of pregnancy.
Precautions and warnings:
Tell your doctor about all your health conditions, including:
If you have any gastrointestinal disorders including ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease.
If you have kidney or liver problems.
If you have a condition called porphyria.
If you have any blood disorders or bleed easily.
If you have high blood pressure.
If you have angina, blood clots, or high cholesterol levels.
If you have heart problems.
If you have diabetes.
If you smoke.
If you have systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
This medication may increase the risk of cardiovascular problems.
Possible side effects:
Stop using this product and seek immediate medical care if you develop a rash; itching; red or ulcerated or peeling skin; chest or throat tightness; difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking; unusual hoarseness or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.
The frequency of these side effects is unknown.
Serious side effects:
Severe chest pain and shortness of breath
Sudden weakness and numbness, loss of vision, difficulty speaking
Stomach pain with dark stool
Allergic reactions
